Wow it has been a while since I posted something… Yes, I know I should be posting more frequently but I’m lazy and honestly I forget about my “blog” but hey the good news is that probably no one is reading this lol! This is my entry for the Design by Humans Incubus T-shirt contest. The competition is out of this world and honestly I don’t think I have chance, don’t get me wrong I love my entry, but there’s some really awesome stuff there that’s definitive better than mine.
I had been working on this idea what it feels like forever… The idea is not that complicated is just a simple thing but the execution was so much time consuming and of course being me I work on it just in extreme cases of boredness. Yup got inspired on Marylin Manson’s song. I don’t know I just pictured this really sexy evil looking girl lol. Anyways did a quick sketch and then went on to illustrator and wuala! I used the “gradient mesh” to color and wow looks pretty awesome but it took some time to get it just the way I wanted. Yes I know is not perfect but hey whose looking for perfection! Anyways its cool and good practice.
Ok, so I’m just starting a new project to keep myself busy for a looooong time. Yup, I’m making my own awesome Incubus t-shirt… well the t-shirt is already made but the graphics/design is what I’ll be working on. So, I went to the store got some fabrics, threads, ribbons. I already cut out the pieces and now I need to start sewing. Hmm we’ll see how that turns out lol… I’m not sure what the results will be, but so far it looks like it could be an awesome t-shirt!
I haven’t been that bored in a while, why? Well, I’m playing a new game “Little Big Planet” and is quite addictive, and on top of that the graphics are so beautiful and detailed it looks really cool and well designed.
Awe I have insomnia! It has been weeks now… I don’t know why but I’m just not sleepy at all.. not until 3 or 4 in the morning… I’ll try to go to bed early but then I’m just laying on the bed moving side from side -_-… And the worst part is waking up in the morning I literally look like a zombie…. all pale, big dark circles under my eyes, and messy hair. Walking with my eyes half-closed to work (I can’t believe I haven’t trip yet)…. awe maybe I should take some sleepy pills lol. Although I do like a bit the zombie look, it scares unwanted people, ha ha ha!
Recently, and I mean this whole week, I have been listening none stop to The Used music… can’t stop… Why? Well, I was flipping through the channels and landed on the video of “All that I got” what an awesome video I love the style and animation, and also the song… I love the lyrics,
“I’ll be just fine pretending I’m not, I’m far from lonely and is all that I got…”
Recently I visited my local library and found this book on the shelve, “Olga Forever.” It’s by Paco Ignacio Taibo II never heard of this tio before, but the cover captured my attention. Well, basically is just a white cover with the introduction of the first paragraph of the story in red letters, and it begins like this “No quise tener nombre de heredera porfiriana medio puta… ” So, I had to open it and see what it was about and wow… this author is basically telling me that he’s braking every single rule about writing a police story, not following any rules. And guess what I love that, so now I’m reading it and so far so good!
***You know what’s funny online the cover is completely different.. hmm go figure I like “my” cover better ^_^
Ja ja ja, yes unfortunately my friends are still lost somewhere… hum or maybe is just me that’s in another “dimension” lol. Anyways, with all this spare time and to manage my boredness I made this short flash animation based from a song from My Chemical Romance called Blood. Is just so freaky funny… of course I wouldn’t had thought of it if I hadn’t been reading Miss. Denorii’s W.A.Y comics that I totally love lol!
I’m so bored right know… why because at the moment my few (and I really mean few) good friends are just way too busy. Yeah… its kind of sad really. But that’s what happens when cupid knocks on the door you tend to forget what’s around you. Its actually kind of a nice feeling, while it lasts… Ha ha!
So, I’m trying my best not to take it personal and wait patiently as my “friends” adjust their busy schedule and remember to include me at least for a few minutes… Read more…
