Wow it has been a while since I posted something… Yes, I know I should be posting more frequently but I’m lazy and honestly I forget about my “blog” but hey the good news is that probably no one is reading this lol! So there’s no harm done. And if for some strange reason you land on this page well here’s something new for you to look at .

This is my entry for the Design by Humans Incubus T-shirt contest. The competition is out of this world and honestly I don’t think I have chance, don’t get me wrong I love my entry, but there’s some really awesome stuff there that’s definitive better than mine.

The inspiration for this piece is from one of my favorites song “Aqueous Transmission” and after listening to this song like a million times I decided to paint this tree, and use koi fish as the leaves. All the elements in here have great meaning behind them. The tree of life which absorbs knowledge, the koi that represents courage and the struggle that everyone goes through to reach their goals… Jeez look at me blabbing isn’t true that “True Art Needs No Explanation” ja ja ja fine I’ll be quite now…
